Sorry! And other things

Dear People of the Fellowship! Sulliad!

It has been many days since I have written, and I am very sorry for it! Since last I told our tale several people have become a part of the fellowship. I feel I have missed telling so many things, thankfully the others have done a very good job of recording these past few very eventful days!

I am very happy to have new companions, especially Raewyn, who is part hobbit! How nice it will be to have another hobbit on the journey. Also, Elladan and Elrhoir, who have been following us from day one, but just now decided—after saving Elena, Raewyn and Lira, to join us. There is also Aldarion, who has been telling us tales these past days, how fun he is to have in camp, I think that Roseriel especially likes to have him around. Love is in the air!

Now for my excuse, these last few days I have been ill and tired. Most probably from staying up all night digging holes, but the looks on Rose's and Elena's faces was worth it all and more. That and the happiness in Samdo's eyes, the poor boy has been so sad these past days since the news of Pippin's death. I can only pray that my Grandfather will be alive when we arrive.

I will write more later but now I must fly, my soup is burning!

Our first day tripping (literally! Yes I mean you Samdo) across the Moors

As Elena said, our first day was rather uneventful. The moors are so beautiful, especially in the moonlight, and I am not the least bit scared of the dark, I was afraid I would be. I hope that tonight one of the others will tell a tale, my main task is hemming poor Samdo's cloak! The poor boy kept falling!

Elena has alerted us to the fact that she suspects that Elladan or Elrohir have been following us, she thinks they felt left out, I feel that they in some way were afraid for our well being, maybe they heard of the prediction that Elena would fall down a well!

Introducing Miss Elanor Bradybuck of Buckland

Le suilon fair people of this fellowship I am Elanor Brandybuck, Daughter of Frodo Brandybuck, Son of Meriadoc Brandybuck, the very same who was a member of the fellowship of the Ring.

My childhood was a happy and carefree one, consisting of summers spent in the fields and woods, and travling with my father, the master of buckland and Winters spent in Imladris learning to read and write, as well as speak Elvish. For my father grew up hearing the tales of my grandfathers travels and wished that his only daughter to be well versed in all things, so that if a need ever arose for me to make a great journey I would be ready for it. Now as I near my 20th birthday, I feel I am ready.

When I received my invitation from my friend Elenatintil to travel with this new fellowship to the woods of Lorien, I was eager to accept. Though it is not the grand journey my father wished for me, it is exactly to my liking. A trip with friends on the same path as people who have been what I want to be, honorable and happy.

As I write this my father is calling for me to come, for we are but a day's ride from Imladris.

Namárië,

Elanor Brandybuck, companion of the _________ Fellowship.

P.S. We need a name for are fellowship! What do you think it should be?
