I was walking through the forest wondering what I should do next. Should I ask permission to join them? It's not like I have anything to go back to. With a heavy sigh I tried to block out the haunting memories when I spied Legolas.

"You look terrible, cousin," I stated.

Legolas looked up with sad eyes, "You know, we are so far apart we really can't even be considered cousins."

I shrugged. "What's wrong? Ella?"

"Yes. She doesn't love me......but love her more than anything."

I slowly nodded my head knowing what he meant, "Yeah.....I know."

"I'm sorry Turwethiel."

"It's okay. You're the only one who knows what I went through, and what I still hold deep within my heart."

"What are your plans now?"

"Well, I was wondering that myself. I don't have anywhere to go really."

"Why don't you travel with us?"

"Do you think they would accept me? They don't know me."

Let me introduce myself......(my first post!)

Rosriel and Ella are running hand in hand, when they bump into a tall, female Elf, in a dark green dress, holding a bow.

"What’s the rush?” Chuckling, “You two seem much exited about something."

Both the girls answer at the same time, "We're sisters!!!"

Me, with a smile, "Well, I suppose that is something to be excited about. I take it you just discovered it?”

Rosriel exclaims, “Yes!” But Ella only stares at the Elf a bit cautiously, “Um....would you mind telling us who you are?”

With embarrassment, “Oh excuse me! My name is Tûrwethiel Merliwen, cousin to Legolas. I am one of the Greenwood Elves who came to your assistance.” With great grace, I curtsy and smile.
